Overview
One of the overarching purposes of this project is to develop
a research framework for investigating the mediating effects
of digital tools and environments on the learning of acquisition
of second language lexical knowledge. The theoretical framework
being developed draws from existing scholarship in other fields.
In each case where we take inspiration from the work in other
fields, our application to the domain of digital language learning
constitutes a novel application of that work or novel contributions
to that work.
